There was no report from MPD.
Sarah Moulter from DPR reported on the progress of the repairs to Mitchell Park Field. That there were 4 bids and the bid would be awarded at the end of April, with construction to begin in May. It was estimated that there would be 2-3 months of construction and that the field would be closed to the public, while the rec center, park and tennis courts would remain open. Hydroseeding would take place
The question of the area housing a dog park was raised and it was recommended that a resident make a formal request for a dog park. It was noted that Mitchell Park is not designated as an official athletic field by the city, as that would require permits for use.

Boxes has a website with historical information. There was no report.
Marie Drissel offered assistance with home owners requesting appeals of their tax assessments.
Old Business: There was no discussion of old business

It was announced that the next meeting would be held on April 20, 2009. The meeting was adjourned at 810pm
